We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Officer to provide vital rehabilitative services to offenders. This role involves facilitating programs designed for adjustment back into the community and includes working with multi-disciplinary teams. You'll enroll offenders, write case notes, and assist in scheduling sessions while ensuring necessary resources are available for effective program delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate rehabilitative programming for offenders
• Organize and promote resources for program delivery
• Write case notes and track reports in OTIS
• Interview offenders and coordinate discharge planning
• Prepare Temporary Absence Permits and assist in training staff
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in social sciences or related field
• Knowledge of community agencies and justice systems
• Experience in group facilitation and program delivery
• Proficiency in offender information systems
• Robust interpersonal and communication skills
