Location: Tomken Road and Eglinton Avenue, Mississauga
CONTRACT from Aug 1st to December $25.23 / hr. plus weekend premium plus $1000.00 bonus for perfect attendance (no lates, no missing days, no excuses)
Responsibilities:
Assemble large garage doors using hand and powered tools
Follow blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
Requirements:
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
Proficiency in using hand and powered tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good communication and teamwork skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Steel-toe safety boots required; additional PPE will be provided
Work Workplace:
Indoor, quick-paced manufacturing setting
Assist in the assembly of components using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
Operate forklifts safely to move materials within the warehouse or production area
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment issues
Support the setup and changeover of manufacturing lines or assembly stations
Maintain a clean and organized work workplace to adhere to safety standards
Handle warehouse tasks such as loading, unloading, and inventory management
Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working setting
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently
Qualifications
Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse operations is preferred
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical concepts
Warehouse experience, including forklift operation, is a plus
Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing processes is advantageous
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
Basic understanding of safety procedures related to manufacturing environments
