We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Snow Plow Operator to keep our community secure and accessible during winter weather conditions. Responsibilities
Operate snow plow trucks and related machinery with precision to explicit snow and ice from designated areas
Perform routine inspections of snow removal equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety standards are met
Apply salt, sand, or other de-icing materials to enhance traction and prevent ice formation on surfaces
Monitor weather conditions continuously to anticipate snow accumulation and plan timely responses
Maintain detailed logs of work performed, including areas cleared and materials used
Conduct minor mechanical repairs or adjustments as needed to keep equipment operational during shifts




Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts efficiently during storm events

Experience
Prior experience operating heavy machinery such as snow plows, excavators, or similar construction equipment is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of power tools and construction machinery
Familiarity with irrigation systems, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is a plus but not required
Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in equipment upkeep or general maintenance tasks
Construction experience that demonstrates ability to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
Robust understanding of safety protocols related to machinery operation and winter weather hazards
