This afternoon shift position from 3:00pm to 1:30am seeks a highly skilled CNC Programmer with over five years of custom programming experience. Your role will involve programming and operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines while collaborating with toolmakers and engineers.
Attention to detail in interpreting CAD drawings will be crucial for meeting project specifications and high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Program and run 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines
Develop programs using Cimatron software
Interpret technical drawings, apply GD&T;
Set up tooling, optimize machining processes
Collaborate with engineers and designers
Requirements:
5+ years of CNC programming experience
Solid machining background in 3-axis and 5-axis
Proficiency in Cimatron preferred
Experience in blueprint reading and precision measurement
Authorized to work in Canada, local commute required
