Join Jardeg as a Millwright Apprentice at Imperial Oil Kearl in Fort MacKay, Alberta, and embark on a hands-on training journey in industrial mechanics. This day shift role offers direct involvement in maintenance and troubleshooting. This apprenticeship will be part of several outages slated from July 9th to August 16th.
You’ll utilize technical skills in reading schematics, operating machinery, and servicing hydraulic systems. Living accommodations include a camp with hot meals and leisure facilities provided. Key Responsibilities:
Interpret service manuals and schematics effectively
Operate machinery with correct rigging techniques
Align gears and perform adjustments accurately
Execute maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Maintain inventory for replacement parts
Requirements:
Millwright Journeyperson Certification or Red Seal
Must have Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
Standard First Aid Certification (Level A or C)
Basic Rigging and Fall Protection training completion
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License necessary
