-time position combines in-office and work from home focused on managing large-scale transportation projects.
The Region of Waterloo seeks a skilled to oversee its Light Rail Transit project in a management role.
Key skills include engineering expertise, project management, and knowledge of procurement and construction processes.

You will coordinate various project aspects, ensuring technical soundness and alignment with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement and selection of engineering consultants
Lead project delivery throughout its lifecycle
Refine and develop business cases for project alignment




Implement governance frameworks for improved project performance
Oversee project risks, from identification to monitoring Requirements:
University degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Qualified Engineer in Ontario
Experience with public sector projects and light rail systems
Knowledge of transportation engineering and project management
