Senior Manager, US Corporate Tax

Due to the continued growth of our U.S. tax practice in Canada, we have an exciting career prospect for an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager to assist in the leadership and growth of our U.S. tax practice. The successful candidate will work with a dedicated team of specialists.

Responsibilities
Taking a leading role in managing and growing our U.S. corporate tax practice.
Proactively providing tax advice and solutions to clients to expand the business.
Supervising and reviewing the work of junior associates for accuracy and completeness.
Managing and mentoring staff.
Reviewing corporate U.S. income tax returns.
Collaborating with team members in Tax and Assurance groups.
Monitoring engagement budgets and project milestones.

Qualifications
Appropriate relevant accounting designation (CPA or EA).
Ability to develop and present current ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions.
U.S. Masters in Tax considered an asset.
At least 7 years experience in U.S. tax in public accounting or in industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills.




Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail; quality driven.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Location

The successful candidate may be based in Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton, or Waterloo office.

Compensation

Salary range for this role is $128,000–$178,000 in Toronto, ON. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
