Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management (“CC&L;”), an affiliate of the Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group, is looking for a Senior Buy Side Equity Analyst to join our Vancouver-based Fundamental Canadian Equity Team.

You will work closely with the Portfolio Managers as part of the security selection and portfolio construction process. CC&L;’s Fundamental Equity Team is comprised of industry veterans and research analysts who manage over $18 billion in fundamental Canadian equity mandates. What You Will Do
Work closely with the Portfolio Managers to research companies and make investment decisions for Canadian equity portfolios
Provide research and analysis of Canadian equities
Consolidate and analyze information from company financial statements, industry conferences and company presentations, analysts, and company management teams
Build and maintain financial models
Present stock recommendations to the Portfolio Managers

What You Bring
3 to 7 years of experience in an equity analyst role,



ideally on the sell-side, buy-side or in investment banking
Team-oriented and team-oriented approach to working with others
Demonstrated ability to understand financial statements
Solid analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to consolidate and focus a large amount of data into succinct written and verbal communications
Confidence and comfort in expressing opinions and making decisions
Comfortable with both a team-oriented and debate-driven approach to communication
A growth mindset; proven ability to bounce back and learn from mistakes
Completion of the CFA designation is preferred
Commitment to live in Vancouver for the long-term

The base salary range is $125,000 – 200,000 annually plus a competitive performance bonus. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
