Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, you will lead a team of Drill and Blast Engineers and Technicians in an open pit mining workplace.

Your responsibilities include supervising personnel, optimizing blast projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. A keen focus on continuous improvement throughout the drilling process will be key to success. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the drill and blast engineering team
Lead optimization projects for open pit blasting
Oversee QA/QC activities and compliance

Requirements:
Minimum 6 years in drill and blast for open pit mining
Supervisory experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and CAD software
