BV Farm Ltd. is a family owned and operated Layer chicken farm. We are seeking full time and part time dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as a Poultry Farm Worker. This is an opportunity to work in a professional agricultural environment focused on animal care, production excellence and teamwork.
Start Date: October 2026
Key Responsibilities
Daily walk-throughs, care, management and monitoring of poultry health and barn conditions
Egg collection and handling with an egg packing machine
Barn and equipment operation, cleaning and maintenance
Following and maintaining biosecurity protocols and procedures
Record keeping and completing production tasks
General farm duties as required/assigned
Qualifications
Previous farm or poultry experience is an asset but not required (training will be provided)
Reliable, Detail-oriented, Self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working around chickens and in agricultural environments
Reliable Transportation and Driver's licence required
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain farm machinery effectively
Strong work ethic with attention to detail in animal care and equipment handling
Good physical stamina to stand, walk for extended periods throughout shifts including lifting at least 30lbs
Ability to follow daily routines and procedures
Willingness to learn new skills related to poultry farming practices
Permanent Resident or Canadian citizen
