Role Description The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at Jim Pattison Toyota Surrey in Surrey, BC. This position is responsible for engaging customers on the showroom floor, understanding their vehicle needs, and presenting suitable new and used Toyota options. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and qualifying customers, conducting test drives, explaining vehicle features and benefits, preparing price quotes, and guiding customers through financing and purchase processes.

The Sales

Associate also follows up with leads, maintains product knowledge and inventory awareness, completes necessary sales documentation,



and collaborates with service and finance teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications
Customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen actively and communicate clearly.
Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience working with sales targets, closing deals, and handling objections.
Comfort with basic digital tools and dealership systems for scheduling, lead management, and documentation.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, follow-ups, and sales processes.
Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, and a courteous, approachable manner with diverse customers.
Interest in and ability to learn automotive product knowledge, especially Toyota models, features, and advantages.
Previous retail, hospitality, or automotive sales experience is an asset but not required.
Availability to work full time schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed, and eligibility to work in Canada.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record for test drives.
