Become a Recreation Therapist at Lifestyle Options – Terra Losa, working temporarily full time to support seniors in Edmonton, Alberta. Your role will focus on enhancing the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

This position, lasting until July 31, 2027, involves assessing residents and designing recreation treatment plans tailored to their needs. You will implement group interventions, monitor progress, and foster a community spirit among seniors, ensuring their engagement and enjoyment.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct assessments and set individual recreation goals • Lead engaging interventions to boost well-being • Coordinate monthly calendars with resident input • Monitor and document resident participation • Manage administrative duties, including record keeping

Requirements: • Diploma or degree in a related field of Recreation Therapy • ATRA, CTRA, ThAAA, or LACAA registration required • Two years’ experience with senior populations • Valid CPR and First Aid certifications • Excellent communication skills in English
