Describe and dictate gross findings of specimens
Assist in processing and performing special procedures
Support the Pathologists in a range of tasks




Contribute to developing innovative Laboratory Department practices
Maintain effective communication within the team

Requirements:
Baccalaureate degree in Science or equivalent experience
Registered with the Canadian Association of Pathologists
Certification with the Canadian Certification Council of Pathologists' Assistants preferred
Prior experience in surgical pathology grossing
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and gross dissection techniques
