Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety & Compliance Manager to oversee transportation safety programs and ensure full regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of federal and provincial transportation regulations, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure company compliance with all applicable federal and provincial transportation regulations
Maintain accurate driver qualification files and safety records
Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) compliance and electronic logging systems
Conduct internal safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
Investigate incidents, accidents, and safety violations; prepare detailed reports
Develop, implement, and update company safety policies and procedures
Coordinate driver safety training and orientation programs




Ensure compliance with National Safety Code (NSC), Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE), Department of Transportation (DOT), and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, as applicable
Track vehicle maintenance schedules and maintain compliance documentation
Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities when required

Qualifications:
Experience in transportation safety and regulatory compliance
Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and electronic logging systems
Excellent organizational and reporting skills
Ability to conduct audits and investigations independently
Solid communication and training facilitation skills

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
