We are seeking a motivated and dependable Ready Mix Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized trucks to deliver ready-mixed concrete to various job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Duties
Safely operate heavy-duty concrete mixer trucks to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites
Verify delivery addresses, load specifications, and delivery schedules before departure
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance
Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each trip
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and team members to coordinate delivery times and resolve issues promptly
Assist with loading or unloading materials using loaders or other heavy equipment when necessary
Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe driving practices at all times
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Mechanical knowledge of trucks, mixers, and related equipment
Construction experience or familiarity with building sites is highly desirable
Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, or tele-handlers machinery is a plus
Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing processes is advantageous
Ability to perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety standards at all times
