University Optometric Clinic is currently seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and responsible individual to join our busy downtown Toronto office.

Successful Candidates must have the following:
Excellent command of verbal and written English Language.
Qualified and pleasant phone manner with the ability to handle patient queries.
Genuine desire to help patient receive the care they need.
Attention to detail, high quality of work and punctuality.
Ability to take on different roles and responsibilities and to prioritize important tasks.
To work well under pressure.
Keep a cheerful disposition at all times with patients in waiting and other team members.

Duties would include:
Handling Front desk/Reception, emails and booking appointments.
Updating patient's demographic information in the electronic file.
Guiding the patient to the proper waiting area and the doctor.




Sending referrals to specialists and following up.
OHIP billings and validations.
Maintaining Clinic's cleanliness and sanitizing testing areas and equipment.
General administrative duties as per Clinic's requirements.
To open and close clinic.

Clinic hours 8:30AM- 5:30PM from Mondays to Thursday and 8:30AM to 4PM on Friday. Please note that this is a full time job. Training will be provided.
