Become a key member of the YMCA team as a part-time Assistant Teacher - School Age Float in Innisfil, ON. Engage with children and support play-based learning in multiple school locations. The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is looking for an Assistant Teacher for the School Age Float role.

This part time position requires childcare experience and a passion for fostering a nurturing setting for kids. You'll be responsible for providing personal care, ensuring child safety, and implementing educational play-based activities across various locations in Innisfil. Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and first aid to children
Monitor safety of up to 15 children during activities
Plan and implement play-based learning activities
Communicate positively with families and staff
Adapt to changing schedules and locations

Requirements:
Minimum 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle access
Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to lift 20 kg and work outdoors
