This role blends live flying, simulation, and classroom instruction to train pilot capabilities. You'll oversee training for CT142Q pilots and manage daily operational activities alongside 402 Squadron. Key Responsibilities:
Train and supervise Q400 CT142Q pilots
Manage training, currency, and proficiency evaluations
Support the flying program and dispatching operations
Conduct instructional mission flights and debriefs
Participate in program ramp-up and training transition activities
Requirements:
500+ hours Pilot-in-Command on multi-crew aircraft
Military flight instruction experience preferred
Two years of supervisory experience in a flying unit
Transport Canada IATRA or ATPL exams completed
Proficient in Microsoft Office and English
