Onni is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Equity Market Analyst to join our dynamic team.

Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, comparables, and scenario analysis. Monitor and interpret relevant macroeconomic, industry, and company‑specific developments that impact investment opportunities.

Generate investment ideas supported by thorough research, and communicate these to the broader investment team through written reports and presentations. Track key performance indicators (KPIs), commodity price trends, and regulatory changes affecting mining and related companies. Collaborate with portfolio managers and other analysts to develop sector‑specific strategies and identify potential investment risks.

Minimum 5 years of experience as an equity research analyst, buy‑side/sell‑side analyst,



or a similar role in investment banking or asset management. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline (Master’s or CFA preferred). Solid understanding of global financial markets, with a solid grasp of equity valuation techniques.

Proficiency in financial modeling and analytical tools (Excel, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.). CFA designation or progress toward it is an asset.

AI Use: This role may involve the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support research, analysis, content development, design, reporting, or operational efficiency. Employees are expected to use AI responsibly and in compliance with company policies, data privacy requirements, confidentiality obligations, and applicable laws. All AI‑generated or AI‑assisted outputs must be reviewed for accuracy, quality, and appropriateness before use.
