We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our busy office. The office is open Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily office operations and ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position requires robust attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a rapid-paced workplace.
Duties
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintain up-to-date records.
Assist with administrative duties such as organizing documents, and managing office supplies.
Provide front desk support by greeting patients, answering phone calls, taking payments and responding to inquiries with professionalism.
Support medical office operations by scheduling appointments and managing patient records, showing patients to exam rooms and setting up rooms for each appointment, cleaning and sterilizing instruments.
Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations.
Skills
Proficient in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required.
Experience with Jane program is an asset but not required.
Strong proofreading skills to ensure high-quality documentation.
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in general administrative tasks.
