Trillium Hatchery provides broiler chicks to commercial farms across South-Western Ontario. Using innovative technology, Trillium provides chicks with light, feed, and water immediately upon hatching, resulting in decreased stress and increased barn performance.
Our small team works hard to keep animal welfare a top priority while supporting the needs of our staff and operations! With this, we are looking for someone to join our team and help with our daily office activities!
Purchasing
Creating paperwork for daily orders that are sent with delivery
Assist in scheduling
Analyze hatch data and enter into spreadsheets
Receiving and organizing paperwork for accounting
Some communication with customers/suppliers
Assistance with writing communications
Accounts Payable
Accounts receivable, including daily invoices
Bank deposits and picking up mail
Organizing Board meetings
Other admin duties based on the needs of the business
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience working in an administrative setting
Experience with bookkeeping (2 years min), preferably Quickbooks online
Relevant education an asset
