C$90 - C$100/Hr- Start: ASAP- Shift / Schedule: Monday – Friday, core business hours; occasional overtime- Travel Requirements: Not required- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in Canada. Job Summary The Scala Spark Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data processing solutions to support Liquidity MRA reporting, analytics, and data quality controls.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, unit test and optimize data pipelines using Scala and Apache Spark. - Implement transformations, aggregations, and calculations required for liquidity reporting. - Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale data processing jobs. - Integrate data from multiple source systems (e.g., transactional, risk, financial data). - Apply data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms. - Support deployment, code reviews, and production issue resolution.



- Adhere to SDLC enterprise development standards, security, and governance policies.

Required Skills
Scala Spark developer experience – at least 5 years - Solid communication skills

Preferred Skills
Banking or regulatory reporting experience in banking - Liquidity reporting experience

Required Experience
5 to 10 years of overall experience
