Miskanawah is seeking a dedicated Infant and Child Development Facilitator for its Family Resource Network. In this full-time position, you will offer individualized support and caregiver mentorship while delivering targeted programs for children aged 0-11. You’ll play a crucial role in fostering positive caregiver-child relationships and promoting early literacy and school readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan play-based programs for children and caregivers
• Create engaging experiences that enhance development
• Promote early literacy and emotional regulation
• Integrate culturally responsive practices in programming
• Provide one-on-one caregiver mentorship and support
Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields
• Minimum two years of experience in similar roles
• Knowledge of developmental milestones and early intervention
• Experience with Indigenous communities preferred
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable transportation
