In this one-year contract role, you will utilize your Bachelor of Science in Nursing and practical experience with children and youth. Your responsibilities will include developing medical safety plans, consulting on medical conditions, and providing training to clients and families. We are looking for a nurse who can effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams to promote health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop medical safety plans with families and clinical teams
• Consult on medication side effects and health management
• Obtain informed consent for medical procedures
• Maintain health data documentation standards
• Collaborate with public health and community partners
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent
• Member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Proven experience in mental health or psychiatry
• Robust clinical assessment and intervention skills
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access
