Responsibilities
Conduct thorough client assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities as required.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment plans and any adjustments needed during sessions.
Keep detailed records of client treatments, preferences, and any relevant medical history using appropriate medical terminology.
Collaborate with other wellness specialists to create comprehensive care plans for clients.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy.
Robust knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly convey information to clients and team members.
Previous experience in a spa or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
