Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions and safety protocols
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Perform light cleaning tasks to maintain a protected and hygienic living workplace
Support clients with mobility exercises and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
Document care provided, observe changes in health status, and communicate updates to healthcare teams
Skills
Prior experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable
Strong background in senior care and working with individuals with disabilities or dementia
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards
Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities
Ability to perform light cleaning, meal preparation, and home care tasks efficiently
Good physical stamina for assisting clients with mobility and daily activities
Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals, clients, and families
