We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in need of support in their daily lives. Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Support clients with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living workplace
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety for both client and caregiver
Observe and report any changes in health status or behavior to healthcare specialists promptly
Requirements
Prior experience working as a Personal Support Worker or in assisted living or nursing home environments
Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including those with dementia or cognitive impairments
Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures
Robust caregiving skills combined with the ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills, compassionate attitude, and patience when working with diverse populations
Ability to follow care plans meticulously while maintaining a positive, energetic approach
Certification as a Personal Support Worker or relevant caregiving credentials preferred but not mandatory
