Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or stripping to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply primers, paints, stains, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with accuracy and efficiency
Use hand tools and power tools to assist in surface preparation and finishing tasks
Operate machinery such as cranes and forklifts safely to transport materials or position items for painting
Follow safety protocols diligently, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly




Collaborate with manufacturing teams to meet project deadlines while adhering to quality standards

Skills
Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment surfaces and preparation technique
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency
Knowledge of machining processes relevant to surface preparation or finishing tasks
Ability to read technical drawings or assembly instructions related to painting projects
