Drive impactful career development programs at UBC's Okanagan campus while managing a energetic team. This role focuses on strategic leadership and fostering critical internal relationships. As the Manager of Career Development Programs, you will evaluate and implement initiatives that enhance student engagement and post-graduation outcomes.
You will lead the UBCO Experience and Involvement HUB and develop technology-focused strategies that support collaboration and experiential learning. Ensuring alignment with institutional goals is a priority. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the evaluation of career development program effectiveness
Manage financial oversight for an annual budget of approximately $1 million
Develop policies for career development services
Build strategic partnerships with faculty and stakeholders
Oversee marketing strategies for Career Development programs
Requirements:
Minimum five years of relevant experience
Master’s degree in a related field preferred
Experience in planning and facilitating events
Extensive knowledge of educational systems affecting students
Robust leadership and communication skills
Contribute to UBC's mission to prepare career-ready graduates through strategic program management and leadership.
