Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and organizing ingredients efficiently and accurately
Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in every dish
Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Prepare ingredients in advance for upcoming service periods to streamline kitchen operations
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen workflow
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation to prevent waste and contamination

Requirements




Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
Knowledge of basic food handling procedures and safety protocols
Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks required in a busy kitchen setting
Solid attention to detail when preparing ingredients and following recipes
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Familiarity with cooking techniques and meal preparation processes is a plus
