Must be bilingual with both French and English. Provide expertise in troubleshooting mechanical issues with locomotives, such as malfunctions in engines, compressors, cooling systems and trucks. Identify problematic systems/parts to ascertain performance failures using diagnostic and fault finding techniques.

Prepare documentation for the inspection, qualification and rebuild of locomotive systems. Develop schematics, diagrams, layouts, drawings and 3D models component selection. Plan tests on locomotives or their subsystems at suppliers' sites.

Documentation, instrumentation, and test coordination. Ensure the integration of required standards into the design and execution of tests. Design and test various specific test setups. Provide technical expertise and analyze test results.





Write test reports and make relevant recommendations. Ensure the quality of measurement and testing equipment
Participate in meetings with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Work collaboratively with other departments and provide technical support Provide technical guidance to other team members
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Significant experience in the field of railway rolling stock or mass rail transit. Valuable knowledge of Microsoft
AutoCAD Electrical. Ability to read with accuracy diesel engine manuals, locomotive schematics, service bulletins, maintenance instructions and other craft related documentation. Customer-oriented.
