Become an essential part of Kamsack District Hospital as a Mental Health Therapist. This full time role focuses on clinical interventions and promoting mental well-being. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will engage with clients in a primary care setting, utilizing your expertise for brief treatment modalities and community health interventions.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Services and possess solid communication, documentation, and organizational skills to enhance patient care experiences. Key Responsibilities:
Engage in clinical interventions and assessments
Facilitate group activities to foster patient support
Maintain extensive documentation of client interactions
Stay updated on mental health legislation and practices
Encourage improvements in clients' mental health functioning
Requirements:
Valid Class 5 driver's license required
Degree in Human Services acceptable to the employer
Experience in integrated care situations preferred
Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
Capacity to work under stress and maintain professionalism
