313A Refrigeration Ticket (Journeyman / Red Seal)
3–5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience
Solid experience with commercial refrigeration systems (HVAC, chillers, industrial)
Experience working on large equipment (HVAC units, rooftop units, chillers up to 80 tons)
Ability to work independently with no training required
Commercial/industrial experience only (no residential)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
G2 License (Gas Technician)
Experience in rental equipment industry (e.g., Sunbelt, Aggreko)
Stable work history (not job-hoppy)
Interest in long-term growth and leadership
Experience training or mentoring junior technicians

Insight Global is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for a leading equipment rental organization. This individual will be responsible for servicing, testing, and maintaining a fleet of commercial HVAC equipment, including large-scale chillers and rooftop units.



The ideal candidate is a licensed journeyman technician who can work independently, support field service calls, and contribute to expanding HVAC capabilities within the branch.

This is a hands-on role within a tight-knit team environment offering solid perks, a company vehicle, and opportunities to mentor junior technicians while supporting business growth.

Day-to-Day:
Test HVAC units prior to rental deployment
Perform service checks and preventative maintenance
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment in the field
Inspect and service returned rental equipment
Winterize chillers (fluid removal and prep)
Support peak seasonal demand (spring/fall equipment prep and storage)
Travel to customer sites (3–4 hours away occasionally; occasional overnight stays)
