Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated First Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a robust background in food service. This role involves preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. The First Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional cuisine in a rapid-paced environment.

Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Serve meals efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service




Follow food safety guidelines at all times to prevent contamination or spoilage

Experience
Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
Knowledge of kitchen operations, meal preparation techniques, and food safety protocols is essential
Experience with serving and handling various types of cuisine is advantageous
Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality environments will be beneficial
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
