Key Responsibilities as a Maintenance Worker:

· Worker orders: Complete orders for minor repairs throughout the site, including minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry (rough and fine), plastering and painting, flooring.

· Trades: Connect with trades when necessary to resolve major maintenance issues.

· Deliveries: Receive and stock deliveries.

· Equipment repair: Make repairs to damaged or broken equipment.

· Preventative maintenance: Complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks to ensure good upkeep of equipment and systems,



including fire system, boilers, and generator.

· Moving: Move office furniture or heavier equipment, inventory, furniture, etc.

· Outside maintenance: minor snow and ice removal (most is contracted out), cement patching, painting.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Work experience in facility maintenance, trades, or demonstrated “handyman” skills.
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple work orders.
Ability to work in a busy environment.
Ability to work independently as well as with others.
Cleanliness and the ability to maintain a tidy shop.
Valid driver’s licence.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Requirements prior to starting: · Vulnerable Sector Check

· Updated immunizations and TB skin test

Pay: $25.34-$29.80 per hour
