Join BC Cancer at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC, as a General Practitioner specializing in Oncology. This full-time role supports outpatient medical oncology services within a collaborative team workplace. In this role, you will engage with patients while reporting to the Head of Medical Oncology, BC Cancer-Kelowna.
You’ll benefit from a supportive learning workplace where no prior oncology experience is required. Your involvement will contribute to BC's high cancer control success rate, alongside creative drug therapies. Key Responsibilities:
Provide general outpatient medical oncology services
Collaborate with the medical oncology team
Participate in patient care, research, and teaching
Uphold reconciliation initiatives with Indigenous communities
Develop expertise in oncology through department support
Requirements:
Eligible for licensure as a specialist in British Columbia
Canadian certification (FRCP, FRCS or CCFP)
Commitment to Indigenous Cultural Safety
Familiarity with anti-racism reports
Enthusiasm for collaborative patient care
