HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT

VINYL WINDOE DESIGNS, a leading vinyl window manufacturer is currently looking for a dedicated and highly organized Human Resources Assistant/Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure in a busy environment.

Responsibilities
Completing time & attendance edits and hour calculations on a weekly basis
Liaise with temp. agencies
Full cycle recruitment for agency employees
Accurate recording of vacation and attendance
Monitor Health & Safety, Complete Quarterly JHSC meetings & Monthly inspections
Follow up with the Plant Manager and Supervisors regarding Health & Safety concerns
Generating reports and compiling information
Reporting & recording of accidents
Data entry & administration
Excellent record keeping
Assist HR Manager as needed regarding other related duties

Qualifications:




Post secondary education in Human Resource Management or related field
Experience working in a Manufacturing setting preferred
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks
Superior communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written
Ability to work with all levels of the organization
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
