Details:
Arranging, facilitating and conducting school-based training on assistive technology that will enable students with exceptionalities to engage more in learning and build self-esteem.
Being able to manage the pace, fluidity, and effectiveness of the training sessions.
Tracking student progress and skill development through our reporting software.
Training school and board staff, and others on the technology
Engaging groups of students and teachers in the learning process and demonstrating an approach to learning that is enabled by technology

Required Skills:
Ability to connect with people, specifically children, across a diverse range of skills and ages, with various exceptionalities.
The capacity to independently perform instructional strategies and pedagogical practices.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and growth, demonstrated through participation at regional Team PD days, weekly team meetings and through Performance Asssessment processes.

Required/Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience
A related degree or diploma, or other degrees/diploma programs with a similar knowledge base




Experience with students with diverse needs and abilities
Working knowledge of software used in educational settings
Valid driver's license and vehicle

Competitive salary (the daily amount is based on a full day of training, partial training will be prorated. On snow days, bus cancellation days, PA days & holidays there is no ability to train)
