We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional customer service in a quick-paced food service setting. Duties
Prepare and assemble food orders according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate Micros POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and upsell menu items when appropriate.
Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining proper cash register procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety standards.
Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
Assist with food storage, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food handling practices.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment.
Follow all sanitation protocols to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met consistently.
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle cash handling accurately and efficiently.
Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash register operations.
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
Experience in upselling menu items to enhance sales is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
