The Maintenance

Manager will oversee a skilled maintenance team in a unionized workplace, ensuring compliance with OHSA and Worksafe BC regulations. This role requires robust leadership, excellent communication skills, and a focus on reducing downtime while improving costs associated with maintenance. You'll address production and equipment issues with proactive strategies and effective communication across departments. Key Responsibilities:
Direct plant maintenance team activities and schedules
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards




Manage the Preventative Maintenance Program effectively
Continuously improve equipment performance and maintenance cost
Oversee capital project implementations with contractors

Requirements:
Bachelor's in Engineering or trade certification preferred
Minimum 8+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing
5+ years in a management role required
Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming beneficial
Solid oral and written communication skills needed
