We are a busy auto wrecking and recycling yard seeking a motivated Automotive Dismantler / Yard Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys mechanical work and wants to build a career in the automotive recycling industry. We are willing to train the right candidate—no prior experience required, just a robust work ethic and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Safely dismantle and depollute vehicles using hand tools and power tools
Remove engines, transmissions, and other major components from salvage vehicles
Operate tire mounting and balancing machines
Drain and properly dispose of vehicle fluids
Accurately label, organize, and store removed parts
Clean and prepare parts for shipping or resale
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety and environmental procedures
Qualifications
Mechanically inclined—an asset, but not required; we will train the right person
Ability to perform physical labour, including repetitive lifting up to 40 kg
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy outdoor/workshop environment
Robust attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Valid driver's license is an asset
