GS CNC Solutions Ltd is seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor to lead daily shop operations and support our CNC machining team. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge of CNC milling and turning, along with planning and supervisory skills.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of up to 5 machinists/programmers
Oversee daily CNC milling and CNC turning operations
Read, understand, and troubleshoot G-code and M-code programs
Assist with CNC setup, prove-outs, and process improvements
Plan and schedule jobs to meet production deadlines
Order tooling, cutting tools, and shop supplies
Coordinate material ordering and availability
Ensure quality, safety, and housekeeping standards are maintained
Step in to operate CNC machines as needed during downtime or peak workloads
Required Qualifications
Solid hands-on experience with CNC milling and turning machines
Solid understanding of G-code and M-code
Experience with tooling selection, setup, and optimization
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Proven experience scheduling and planning machining work
Leadership experience supervising or mentoring machinists
Organized, dependable, and solutions-focused
Preferred Assets
CNC programming experience
Experience in a job shop or high-mix, low-volume setting
Familiarity with FANUC controls
Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
