Lead the management of civic and recreational facilities with the City of Cambridge. This role focuses on strategic planning and financial oversight while ensuring the successful operation of multiple facilities. Reporting to the Director of Risk and Facilities, you will oversee the Facilities Management Section.
This includes budget management, maintenance operations, and resource allocation. You’ll collaborate with departments to enhance community services and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for facilities. Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate and monitor facility maintenance service level agreements
Manage security and environmental systems for all facilities
Provide consultative support for building operations and policies
Collaborate on long-range facility maintenance planning
Coordinate risk management strategies for building management
Requirements:
5+ years in Property and Facility Management
Relevant undergraduate degree or work experience
Certified Aquatic Technician (CAT) or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations
