We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/woman Automotive Technician to join our energetic service team. Responsibilities
Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
Perform repairs including engine work, brake replacements, suspension repairs, and electrical systems
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding, and other physically demanding tasks
Read and interpret technical schematics and repair manuals for precise repairs
Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and timelines
Experience
Proven dealership or automotive repair experience as a mechanic or technician
Robust mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems and components
Hands-on experience with welding, assembly, and the use of schematics for troubleshooting
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment required for automotive repair
Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
Excellent customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and build trust with clients
Prior experience working with automotive schematics and performing complex repairs is highly desirable
