We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Flatbed Delivery Driver to operate our 2020 Hino Flatbed Truck . In this role, you will be responsible for transporting materials safely to local and across the lower mainland job sites and commercial clients, ensuring secure cargo tie-downs, and maintaining qualified customer service.
Duties
Safely operate a flatbed truck to deliver goods across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Secure loads properly using straps, chains, or other equipment to prevent shifting or damage during transit
Assist with loading and unloading cargo, including heavy lifting and moving items within warehouses or delivery sites
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with transportation standards
Use forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed for loading or unloading cargo safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs,
and reports for each trip
Experience
Prior experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed trucks or similar vehicles is a bonus
Solid moving skills, including heavy lifting and manual handling of cargo
Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse environments is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and cargo securement
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
