Overview The Hammer Bro's Carpentry is hiring a Carpenter’s Helper to add to our growing family business. We’re looking for a reliable, motivated individual to assist with building decks, landings, porches, and installing Smart Start exterior trim/details on residential new construction homes.

Duties
Assist with measuring, cutting, and preparing materials using hand tools such as nail guns, chop saws, drills, reciprocating saws, and hammers.
Support the installation of exterior siding, trim, windows, and other finishing components
Help with caulking and sealing joints.
Assist with building decks, stairs, landings, railings, and pillars.
Carry heavy materials and equipment safely across job sites (including up ladders), while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, unloading and setting up ladders, and disposing of debris regularly.

Requirements




Experience with hand tools commonly used in carpentry or construction settings (nail gun, chop saw, impact drill, reciprocating saw).
1 year construction or handyman experience preferred; will train the right person.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout the workday.
A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license to get to job sites.
Must be comfortable with heights and working on ladders.
Robust work ethic and an attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
