Registered Nurse (RN) – Temporary Full time Private Home Care Position

Duration: Weeks to months (based on patient’s care needs)

Compensation: $50/hour

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join a dedicated team providing one-on-one private home care for a palliative care patient in Westmount.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity for a nurse looking for consistent hours while providing high-quality, personalized care in a home setting. The duration of the position will depend on the patient’s evolving care needs.

Schedule
12-hour shifts:
Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Night Shift: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
Availability required: approximately 5–7 shifts per week

Due to the short-notice start, we are looking for nurses with strong availability, flexibility, and reliability who can commit to regular shifts.

Responsibilities
Provide compassionate palliative nursing care
Monitor patient condition and manage symptoms




Administer medications and treatments as required
Provide comfort-focused care and support
Communicate with family members and the healthcare team
Complete nursing documentation and updates

Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensed with the OIIQ
Bachelor of Nursing preferred
Previous hospital experience required
Palliative care, oncology, or complex care experience is an asset
Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Qualified, reliable, and compassionate
