Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Evening Cleaner at Royal Tyrell Museum to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment during daytime hours. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations by providing consistent cleaning and basic facilities maintenance.

Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers steady employment with opportunities for growth within our team.

Duties
Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards.
Maintain restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
Conduct routine inspections of common areas to identify and address maintenance needs or safety hazards.
Assist with minor facilities maintenance such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, or reporting larger repairs needed.
Ensure entryways, hallways, and public spaces are presentable at all times.




Restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed to ensure efficient workflow throughout the shift.
Collaborate with management to address any special cleaning requests or urgent maintenance issues promptly.

Skills
Proven experience in cleaning, especially in commercial or facility settings.
Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs and troubleshooting.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures.
Valuable organizational skills to prioritize daily tasks efficiently.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, and bending or reaching as needed.
Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or requesting supplies. This role is vital in maintaining a professional setting that reflects positively on our organization while supporting daily operations through effective cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.

Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour
