We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, and maintaining an organized shop setting. This position requires strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail setting.
Duties
Manage daily front store operations: balancing tills, point of sale and putting away stock.
Speaking with patients and guiding them to the appropriate pharmacy staff members for additional help.
Assist with helping patients pick up their medications.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Utilize POS systems for transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment for patients.
Requirements
Previous experience in retail sales or technical sales is highly desirable.
Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers professionally.
Familiarity with merchandising principles and practices is a plus.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and technologies.
