The position requires a deep understanding of mining, civil or geotechnical engineering principles, especially in conditions involving rock bursting. You will collaborate with various teams to implement effective ground control programs and uphold safety and operational protocols. Key Responsibilities:
Design and monitor ground control systems for mines
Implement stability programs at recent and legacy sites
Collaborate with Mine and Geology Directors
Lead site geotechnical teams and mentor junior staff
Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in mining, civil, or geotechnical engineering
Master’s degree in rock mechanics preferred
Minimum 12 years of industry experience
At least 6 years in specialized ground control
Solid communication and leadership skills
